This new book, ’It’s Not All About The Football’, captures the spirit of Bath City Football Club. The team plays in black and white and in monochrome pictures by local photographer Neil Phillips and verse by Jon Hamp it follows the fans roller coaster ride through the season.
Bath has been a tourist destination since Roman Times but amongst the Georgian buildings, Jane Austen and Spa days is a local football club full of grit and passion.
Socialising and taking in the atmosphere before and after games, shivering and cheering on the terraces with their pets and children, it chronicles what it really means to be a football fan at an “unfashionable” club in a fashionable city.
